It brought together structural designers, construction engineers and project managers on a common platform to discuss important topics such as alternatives in concept design, importance of design development & many more. Through lectures and presentations by experts in the field, the conclave provided an ideal platform for interchange of ideas, absorbing use of latest technology and accessing up-to-date trends in design and construction.

After qualifying as an Architect, Deepali pursued her doctorate degree in Space Structures from the University of Surrey in Guildford, UK.

In the years that followed, she worked on several Commercial, Industrial and Residential projects at an architectural practice in Central London. Deepali also lived and worked in Toronto, Canada for three years where she was associated with the design of Exhibition Layouts for International Trade fairs and Exhibitions.

In December 1999, Deepali joined Sterling Engineering Consultancy Services Pvt. Ltd a rapidly growing structural engineering practice in Mumbai.  In 2003, Deepali completed her MBA in Family Managed Business from the S. P. Jain Institute of Management and Research, Mumbai.

She is now a Director at Sterling and her responsibilities include - all Financial Management, Human Resource Development and Administrative functions within the organization. She is actively involved in developing Information and Communication Systems and Quality Control Policies for the company. Deepali is the Editor of Sterling’s Newsletter which covers the latest and innovative projects completed by Sterling Engineering. She also writes for leading engineering and architectural magazines and journals. Deepali’s special interest has been in Tensile Structures. She continues to lecture and conduct workshops for tensile structures in various architectural colleges. She has also written articles for leading architectural magazines on Tensile Structures.
